Formulated by a dentist with 40 years in the chair.
Dr. Robert H. Dakin, DDS has practiced in Wichita, Kansas for over four decades and served as President of the Kansas Dental Association. On dental missions in Kenya, Liberia, Albania and Kazakhstan he kept meeting the same problem: no clean water, no toothbrush, no way to clean teeth.
FizzBitz is his answer. Twelve years of formulating a tablet that cleans with nothing but your own saliva.
Clean teeth, no sink. People notice.
I travel for work three weeks a month. These live in my laptop bag now. Clean mouth between flights without hunting for a bathroom.
My son hates brushing. Sensory stuff. He thinks these are candy and his dentist said his gums look better.
I was skeptical about the no water thing. Chewed one after lunch and my teeth felt genuinely clean. Not minty-covered-up. Clean.
Took a jar backpacking. Everyone in the group wanted one by day two.
Questions, answered.
Does FizzBitz replace brushing?
It is the best clean you can get when brushing is not an option: after meals, while traveling, at work, or for anyone who cannot tolerate a brush. We still recommend brushing and flossing when you can.
How does it work without water?
Chewing the tablet starts a gentle effervescent reaction with your saliva. The foam spreads across every surface of your teeth and gums, lifts away food particles and plaque, and leaves a clean, fresh feel. Swish for 30 to 60 seconds, then spit or swallow.
Is it safe to swallow?
Yes. Every ingredient is food grade and safe to swallow. There is no fluoride, no alcohol, and no harsh chemicals. Each tablet is 5 calories.
What does it taste like?
Sweet Mint. A soft, natural mint sweetened with stevia leaf extract. No artificial flavors.
Is it okay for kids, braces, or sensitive teeth?
FizzBitz was first created for a child who could not tolerate a toothbrush because of sensory sensitivities. It is gentle, has no abrasives, and is safe to swallow. Children should be old enough to chew and swish safely. If you have specific dental concerns, ask your dentist.
Where is it made?
In the USA, in a GMP certified, FDA registered facility.
How long does a jar last?
One tablet is one clean. A 30 tablet jar is about a month of once-a-day use. The 50 tablet jar is for people who use it after most meals, or households that share.
